The garden of all Saints

The construction of the complex encompassing the chapels of rest started when the initial plans were made in 1937 and lasted until July 1940, when the Garden of All Saints, named by its creator, the architect Jože Plecnik, was opened with a ceremony by Ljubljana Mayor Dr. Juro Adlešic, and Bishop of Ljubljana Dr. Gregorij Rožman. The project was never fully finalised due to the World War II and the lack of funds, and remains as such today.
