For Project Owners:
Editorial Responsibility with Real Control
Owning a project means owning its quality and coherence. You're the one who has to answer for whether every guide belongs there.
Until now, that responsibility came without a matching tool. If a contributed guide drifted off-theme, fell below your standards, or simply no longer fit the collection, there was nothing you could do from within the project.
But that is not the case anymore. In the project management view, project owners now see a remove option on every guide in the project — including guides authored by other network members. It's ownership of the project, not authorship of the guide, that grants the right to remove the guide from the project.
For Contributors:
Content Preserved Without Alteration or Transfer of Ownership
We know that handing your content into a shared project can feel risky if you don't control who else touches it.
That's why this new ARTOUR feature is deliberately non-destructive. The guide is only removed from that specific project. It stays in the system, remains your property, and is not deleted or unpublished anywhere else. You keep every point of interest, every photo, every word you wrote.
Before a project owner can remove your guide, they're asked to write a short message explaining why. You are then automatically notified by email, with a direct link to your guide, the project it was removed from, and the owner's message. There are no silent removals — you always know what happened and why.
