Dobrodošli, bienvenue, witamy — the ARTOUR app now speaks 18 languages

One app. Every menu, every map, every message — in the language you think in.

Travel has always been multilingual. A Polish family strolling through Ljubljana's riverside market. A French couple following a Danish cemetery route, phone in hand. A Greek student exploring Tuscan vineyards for the first time. The moment they open a guide, the interface should feel like home — not like a puzzle to decode.

That idea has guided our latest update. The entire ARTOUR app interface — menus, maps, radar mode, chat, the story reader, install prompts, every single message — is now fully translated into 18 languages, covering most of Europe's most-spoken languages.

12 new languages join the family

ARTOUR already supported English, Slovenian, Italian, Spanish, German and Danish. Now we are thrilled to welcome twelve more:

Français

French

Português

Portuguese

Nederlands

Dutch

Polski

Polish

Čeština

Czech

Hrvatski

Croatian

Magyar

Hungarian

Română

Romanian

Ελληνικά

Greek

Svenska

Swedish

Українська

Ukrainian

Русский

Together with the original six — English, Slovenian, Italian, Spanish, German and Danish — the app now covers the daily languages of the vast majority of European travellers.

And because the language picker lists every option in its own script (Français, Polski, Ελληνικά, Українська…), visitors find theirs instantly — even if the app happened to open in the "wrong" language.

Switch instantly — no restart, no friction

Changing the interface language takes a single tap. The entire app re-translates on the spot: menus, buttons, system messages — and even the map reloads in the chosen language. Street names in Greek when you need them, back to English a moment later. No restart required.

The language setting also works hand in hand with ARTOUR's language-aware content ranking. Nearby guides written in your language surface first, while guides in other languages remain visible but are honestly labelled with a small language chip. Nothing is hidden; everything is prioritised for comfort.

For partners: 18 languages, zero extra work

If you run a branded ARTOUR app — whether it carries the identity of a cultural route, a municipality, or a regional tourism board — this update arrives automatically. Every custom-branded partner app inherits all 18 interface languages without any per-app translation effort on your side. Your visitors from Warsaw, Lisbon, Athens or Stockholm will feel welcomed from the very first screen.

One platform, countless audiences, one shared investment. That is the ARTOUR model — and with 18 languages in place, it has never been more true.
