Sartori Monument

Sartori Monument

Central avenue
The work was created by Eugenio Prati in 1925.

The character, represented in the typical pose of the thinker, is sitting on a marble block, on the sides of which are carved the sacred episodes of Baptism and Deposition of Christ.

Curiosity: the mighty bronze statue is strongly linked to the Rodin's Thinker model and is not the only one made according to this model inside the Cemetery, just look at the Cesaris Demel Monument created by Francesco Modena.
