Pindemonte Moscardo Monument

Pindemonte Moscardo Monument

Intercolumniation CLXXXV
The monument was created by the sculptors and brothers Carlo and Attilio Spazzi in 1898.

The work represents the noblewoman Giulia Pindemonte Moscardo who, before she died, is comforted by an angel.

Curiosity: the sculptors were inspired by the famous angels of Giulio Monteverdi, creator of the Monument Oneto in the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno in Genoa.
