Camuzzoni Monument

Camuzzoni Monument

Passage, at no. CXC
The work was created by the sculptor Romeo Cristani in 1897.

The monument is dedicated to Giulio Camuzzoni, politician and lawyer, promoter of the hydraulic interventions of containment of the Adige river that still bear his name.

Curiosity: the girl sitting near the bust of Giulio Camuzzoni is crowned with the Arena, symbol of Verona. In fact, she represents the city of Verona that pays homage to its illustrious citizen.
