Bronze Dušan Kveder's bust (born 1915, which you are able to see in the surrounding of Drava tower is a work of Viktor Gojkovič from year 1967. The location of that bust is not coincidental. Drava tower was actually named after him between 1967 and 1992

Who was Dušan Kveder?

Dušan Kveder-Tomaž, slovenian-spain warrior, communist, partisan, general, political commissioner and national hero. Kveder was born on April 9th in Šentjur - he died on  March 12 1966 in Beograd.

Dušan Kveder participated in Spanish civil war. After that he was locked up in a France and Germany Lager. In July 1941 he joined to the National Liberation War also known as the Yugoslav front. Later Kveder have become a political commissioner, later the commandant of headquarters of National Liberation War and Partisans detachment of Slovenia.
