Sweden’s most beloved children’s author, Astrid Lindgren took her daily walks through the cemetery often passing the grave of the young brothers Nils and Bertil Bernström. Astrid, with the brothers in mind then wrote two famous stories, Brothers Lionheart and Nils Karlsson Pyssling.
At the grave if you look directly opposite you will see the family mausoleum of Bernström. This also inspired Astrid to write about Nangiyala, which is the fictitious afterlife the Brothers Lionheart found themselves in.
