Ingrid Bergman (1915 – 1982)

One of Sweden’s most renowned film and theater actresses best known for her role as Ilsa Lund in Casablanca. Ingrid grew up in a fashionable area in central Stockholm. At an early age she lost her mother and in her teens her father.

At only 16, she was accepted to the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm. She then went on to make a strong impression with international audiences regarding her talent, professionalism and beauty. Ingrid starred in numerous films and received a total of three Oscars. 

Ingrid died on her 67th birthday after battling cancer and was buried together with her parents.
