This small county in China is famous for the large amount of canola flowers. In spring and when temperature is going high, the flowers begin to bloom and transform the fields in an amazing golden sea.
This region has recently became a famous spot attracting many tourist and photographers that come to see one of the most fascinating views in the world. People come into this rolling hillside landscape of rapeseed farms early in spring mornings to enjoy in unique sunrises that shine over the endless fields of canola flowers.
The canola flowersCanola is a Canadian plant discovered in 1970s, used to remove the anti nutritional components from rape seeds.These plants produce low level of saturated fats. The rapeseed flowers are used in the production of cooking oil and also honey products. Southern China has many areas famous for the canola flowers but this county in the east is their home. It`s China`s primary production of canola.
The beekeepersAs the flowers number increases, it also increases the count of bees that live on the canola flowers. During the blooming season beekeepers set their tents among the flowers. Their job is to preserve the bees and when the season is not there, they feed the bees with wild flowers.
