The Tunbridge Wells Bar & Grill is located in a prime location on the High Street in the heart of this fashionable area. Following a complete transformation, our unique property is a fresh, intimate space where guests can enjoy a mid-morning coffee, a leisurely lunch, a relaxed dinner or unwind with a cocktail at the impressive bar. A state of the art retractable roof provides outdoor dining all year long, rain or shine.
Ingredient provenance is key to us. We’re about classic and inspired seasonal cooking, amazing steaks and brilliant cocktails to match. We only serve 100% British beef naturally reared on farms selected by us. Our chefs traveled to Memphis to learn the best barbecue techniques to bring back to our kitchens. We’re cooking over charcoal on an amazing theatre grill and wood burning oven, putting a big focus on marinating, rubbing and slow cooking with our latest menu. "Tunbridge wells isn't exactly a cheap town, generally speaking. Most places charging near London prices for things, and Bar and Grill is no exception.
It is a well presented place, modern with a great outdoor space with a retractable roof for days when the weather isn't favourable. The staff are well presented and fairly helpful.
The food is a fair standard, good size portions, typical bistro food. We've been a couple of times now and never been disappointed but also never blown away. Personally the cocktails are the star at this establishment, good selection and always we'll done.
Nice place, you won't go hungry, you'll have a nice time, but don't expect too much of a wow factor."
