The monument was erected on October 4,h, 2004 and is dedicated to f Croatian soldiers and civilians killed during the Serbian aggression against Croatia (1990 - 1995).
It is inscribed with the names of 13,500 victims of the war. Ihe creator of the monument is the famous Croatian Dušan Džamonja
