Once upon a time a farmer Radogost lived together with his only daughter Lada in Haloze. His daughter was the most beautiful girl in town.  Lada was so proud that no one could get closer to her. But a boy Pergo, who was a worker on his dad's farm was in love with her. But Lada made a fool out of him and told him that she will be with him only if he bring her a gold spindle, which is hiden in a hall in Donačka mountain. She was planing to spun a silver wedding dress.

So some day Pergo went in the wood and saw a small guy who was playing with the ball. Pergo took his ball away and started to make fun of him. A little guy told to Pergo that if he returns him the ball that he will help him. After that Pergo returned him the ball and left.

Later on a vineyard of Radegost started to decay and Pergo decided to call that small guy from the wood. Little guy sent Pergo to hall in Donačka mountain where he was offered with the finest wine and he also got a golden spindle, which he wanted so much. Pergo also got a plant that brought Radegost's vineyard back to life. And a golden spindle he gave to lovely Lada. Because of that Lada fulfil her promise and married with him. So his biggest wish was realized.
