The Slovenian theatre, film, television and radio actress Majda Potokar, daughter of the actor Lojze Potokar, graduated from AGRFT in 1952. Even before her graduation she appeared in the film Na svoji zemlji (On Our Own land). In the 1952/1953 season she was accepted to the Ljubljana Drama. She was a member until her retirement. Majda Potokar portrayed especially strong character women. She received the Borštnik Ring award for life achievements. For her role in the film Rdeče klasje (Red Wheat) she received the Slver Arena award in Pula.
