The monument to Slovenian composers was erected by the Glasbena Matica cultural society. The creator of the portrait bust of D. Jenko is the sculptor Lojze Dolinar (1936), and the statue was bronze cast at the Mostar foundry in Ljubljana. The portrait bears the mark 22/5/36 Dolinar.
