Carpaccio House

Carpaccio House

Legend has it that the house was the home of the eminent Venetian painter Vittore Carpaccio, but actually it was only lived in by his son Benedetto in the first half of the 16th century.

Carpaccio House is an exceptionally beautiful example of 14th century Gothic building.

Its present appearance reflects the renovations of 1935 and 1955.
