By 2013, we had something good, but we realized it could be even better. That’s when we took it to the next level.

In 2014, we decided to turn that passion into something truly awesome. Enter ARtour 3, the next chapter in our mobile guide’s evolution, available for both Android and iOS.
But this wasn’t just another update—this was a complete redesign. What was new compared to version 2?

- Resolved bugs to make your travel experience seamless.
- And yes, we even experimented with material design to give ARtour a fresh new look.
New Features: Your Personal Travel Guide
ARtour 3 introduced a game-changing feature—Personal Routes. Now, by logging in to ARtour, you can create your own custom routes. Add points, set geographical locations, and even upload photos to share your travels with the world.
Routes you create within the free plan are for your eyes only. They won’t be visible to others or shareable unless you choose to make them public.
Discover & Add New Content
Creating a route is easier than ever. You can search and import content from trusted sources like Wikipedia, Google, Facebook, and tourism websites such as Maribor’s official tourism page. Adding these points to your route is as simple as clicking a button.
Share & Monetize Your Knowledge
Want to share your routes with others? With our premium packages, you can make your routes public and share them with the world. As a Community member, you can create up to 20 public routes each month.
If you’re an expert in a specific area and want to earn from your knowledge, the Author option, coming in 2015, will allow you to create and sell your routes. Stay tuned for more on this exciting feature!
