Even before you cross the river Drava you are able to see and admire the facade of Ptuj's old town. Above the city you can see a famouse Ptuj's castle, which stand there since around 11. Century. More about the castle you will be able to read a little bit later, when you will climb on the castle hill.
On the other side of Drava - located on the river bank you can see border point of former Ptuj's old town - those two points are Dominican monastery on the left and the Minorite monastery on the right site. Both monasteries are connected by the Drava street, which is the next sight you will see and learn something about. Continue towards to the bridge.
